This 1st birthday celebration was designed for a relaxed outdoor venue, with a focus on creating a clean, cohesive setup that still felt playful and age-appropriate.
The goal was to bring a dinosaur theme to life without overwhelming the space, keeping it modern, soft and visually balanced for both guests and photos.
The setup featured a custom backdrop paired with a layered balloon installation, creating a strong focal point for the event.
We incorporated a mix of soft blues, neutrals and subtle metallic tones to keep the palette cohesive while still tying into the dinosaur theme.
The direction was guided by a cake topper the client had already purchased, along with a dinosaur standee from our existing inventory.
Alongside the backdrop, a fully styled soft play area was installed to create a dedicated space for younger guests.
This included our crowd-favourite ball pit and rollercoaster combination, which consistently becomes the most used and loved part of the setup.
The soft play featured a neutral white base with soft green elements, designed to complement the backdrop rather than compete with it.
